3DP-VET Project aims to introduce to teachers and educators the potential use of 3D printing and provide them with the essential skills and competences in order to use 3D printers in VET classrooms.

The project is aiming to develop six intellectual outputs;

IO1: Research report on 3D Printing Education (Field research)

IO2: Needs Analysis report

IO3: Curriculum on 3D Printing

IO4: Training materials for online use

IO5: Training guide for VET educators

IO6: Course syllabus

The first two Intellectual outputs IO1: Field research, including research on the existing training programs; and IO2: Need analysis, where we presented and analysed a small scale qualitative survey about 3D printing technologies are completed an are on the website of the project: https://3dprintinginvet.eu/project-results/

Our 2nd project meeting took place online due to Covid-19 restrictions

Few weeks ago we held the second transnational meeting of the 3DP-VET project and once again, due to COVID-19 limitations we implemented it online. Regardless of the circumstances, it proved a very fruitful online meeting where we discussed the first steps to the creation of the International Curricula for VET teachers. The basic aim of 3DP-VET curriculum is to bring 3D Printing to European classrooms and equip teachers with the necessary tools and knowledge to successfully integrate 3D printing into a variety of subjects and lessons. 3DP-VET curriculum will be available soon, so stay tuned!
